Wharton County is located southwest of Houston on Highway 59. It was named for brothers William H. and John A. Wharton and is comprised of 1,087 square miles. In 1859 Wharton County had some of the highest land values of any other county in Texas. We, at Hankamer and Associates find that Wharton County is on the path for future economic growth.
